As ski resorts become increasingly crowded and mass-market, we offer something different—an independent alternative where natural beauty, uncrowded terrain, endless discovery, and creative spirit define every moment.
A Storied Legacy
Powder is more than a mountain. Fully independent, uncrowded, and seemingly endless, Powder Mountain sits on some of North America’s most pristine ski and snowboard terrain an hour north of Salt Lake International Airport.

Reed Hastings

Meet Our Team

In 2018, Reed Hastings was introduced to, fell in love with, and bought a home at Powder Mountain.
As the co-founder and former CEO of Netflix, Reed was no stranger to innovation and revolutionary problem solving.
When he learned of the mountain’s financial distress, he saw an opportunity to at once preserve the charm he cherished, course correct operations, and create an entirely new category of ski experience, changing the way recreation, real estate, and culture converged.
